Training Instructions, Working Copy Naming, Unique Reviewers and more
We are excited to release several notable improvements in eSign Documents. This update will be available to all customers by Dec 1, 2025:
Training Instructions
- Author specific training guidance for each managed document to be presented to trainees.
- Optionally include links to additional resources: change logs, assessment tests, references, etc.
- Edit training instructions in the working copy or the released document revision.
Periodic Review Reminders
- eSign will now send weekly email notifications to all Owners with documents where Periodic Reviews are due within 30 days.
Require Unique Reviewers
- Document Types can now be configured to require unique reviewers. When enabled, each Approval for those documents requires a separate person. i.e. The same person cannot sign for multiple roles.
Start Document workflow improvements
- On Start, automatically update the working copy title to include the Document ID
- Tag the Confluence page versions with Document Revision IDs for improved visibility
- Set the Confluence page owner to "eSign" to improve page security
New Webhook Events - Review Approved, Review Rejected, Training Complete events are now available for integration with Atlassian Automation rules.
